Many: There are numerous ways to try and prevent atherosclerosis. Not smoking and diet and exercise. Keeping your blood pressure and cholesterol maintained. Checkups with your doctor. Family history plays a large roll. Unfortunately if you do have family history with this, the most important thing is to take all precautions and preventable tips to help prevent atherosclerosis.
