A member asked:

Is there any evidence that links pregnancy-related hormone therapy treatments with increased risk of ovarian cancer?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Tough question: By this i assume you mean for in vitro vertilization. Any hormone manipulation has a potential for side effects. Increased Estrogens increases the risk of breast and cervical cancer, but lower estrogen increases risks of ovary and uterus--also influenced by Progesterone and other hormones. This is not a straight forward topic, as there are many studies that contradict each other.
