Depends: If by "benign cancer" you mean benign tumor, the symptoms depend on the location and size of the tumor. There may be lumps under the skin, mass in breast, mass in abdomen, if in the pituitary, visual symptoms etc. Mostly benign tumors are generally silent.

Ca125 test 7 months ago, raised at 54, repeat test raised at 95, pelvic ultrasound clear. Repeat ca125 back down to 52. Hysteroscopy - benign polyp, removed. If this rise in ca125 was caused by ovarian cancer, would I have symptoms after 7 months?
