It is typically very itchy. The skin can be very dry. Topical antifungal agents typically work pretty well. People often pick it up from shower floors where these fungi love to hang out.

Itching/burning skin: Skin in between toes may begin to itch, burn or crack. The skin may become white or macerated. In excessive cases, skin will become raw. Excessive moisture in between toes is the most common cause.
