What are the symptoms of amblyopia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Blurred vision: Amblyopia is a doctor's name for diminished vision, usually in just one eye, in the absence of demonstrable anatomic abnormalities, i.e. The eye exam appears normal. Common causes are a difference in the refraction (how near-sighted or far-sighted) between the eyes, or a misalignment of the eyes. Often no abnormal outward appearace is present, and the condition is discovered on school screenings.
