Check waist size: To determine if you are "bloated" (defined: abdominal distension), compare your baseline abdominal circumference (when not bloated) against a remeasurement when you feel bloating. The same comparison can be made to assess weight gain (check before & after scale weights). However, weights & abdominal circumference may vary throughout the day appropriate to food ingestion, laxation, water retention.
