Yes: It can take up to 18 months of age for teeth to erupt. You can give your child cut up pieces of table food, which are about as small as a diced carrot. Examples would be cooked vegetables, pieces of fruit, noodles, breads, soups, and soft meats, chicken, hamburger, ham, and turkey.

Ber careful: Even if incisors begin to erupt your child can only bite. Can't chew until back teeth come in about 2. So make sure food cut up into tiny, tiny pieces, and make sure child does not stuff hands-full into mouth. Please ask your pediatrician for guidance. Please see a pediatric dental specialist as soon as teeth start to erupt. Remember, permanent teeth are already forming and you need guidance.
