Not necessarily: It's not uncommon to experience symptoms of premenstrual syndrome before your period actually starts. This includes having some degree of menstrual cramps on and off, breast tenderness, headaches, fatigue, and even sometimes spotting among others. If you have had unprotected sex and your period ends up being late then I would encourage you to take a home pregnancy test and see. But sounds normal.
