Years too long: It is not unusual for young ladies to start menstuating and then stop even for months or years. This has a great deal to do with heredity. If the women in your family have irreg. periods then yours may never settle into a 28 day pattern. It is recommended that women cycle at least every 6 mnths. It is advisable to see a physician to help with cycle control. You may choose the OCP for this.
