Depo: after stopping the Depo-Provera shot it takes about a year for your cycles to normalize so you just have to wait that long and then try to get pregnant

Depo Provera (medroxyprogesterone): This is a side-effect of the DepoProvera . It can take a while after you stop it to start ovulating and having periods again. Since you can get pregnant before your first period after using it, it is a good idea to start prenatal vitamins now and use another method of contraception like condoms until your periods resume.
