Chikungunya: This and any infection can complicate pre-existing conditions. You should talk to an infectious disease doctor and let your doctor know. You may also need to see other specialist but start with ID doctor.

Have lupus and do my best to stay healthy but when I get a simple cold or sinus infection, I get a full blown lupus flare causing days of bed rest to recover. Is that pretty typical? How to get over flare quickly?
