Prognosis: Although your EF is still low, the prognosis depends on your medical therapy and symptoms. So if you are not having any symptoms of heart failure or shortness of breath, no edema and taking your meds, your prognosis is not as bad as thought. It is important to follow all the instructions of your cardiologist including diet, exercise and avoidance of alcohol.
