I had a depo shot in august. did not go back for my second because ttc. had some period like cramping last night but no period. why would this happen?

Two main reasons: #1) You are already pregnant-run a pregnancy test. #2) The endometrium(lining of the uterus) is so thin from the Depo provera (medroxyprogesterone) that cramping occurred for the period but no flow resulted as there was nothing to shed.
