20yr old smoke occasionally. tonsils are swollen pain when swallow on right side also lymph node sort of swollen. is the cancer?

Sore throat=CA?: Smoking and drinking do increase the chance of developing throat/tonsil CA. HPV can also be linked with CA in this area. Usually it would occur at a later age, 20 is very young. The most common cause would be sinus drainage or a viral infection. If it hasn't gotten better in two weeks see your doctor
