Sore throat=CA?: Smoking and drinking do increase the chance of developing throat/tonsil CA. HPV can also be linked with CA in this area. Usually it would occur at a later age, 20 is very young. The most common cause would be sinus drainage or a viral infection. If it hasn't gotten better in two weeks see your doctor

Glands: go see your primary care to rule out Strep infection if negative he can test you for other causes
