Probably Cervix.: Hi Maria, The cervix is at the top of the vagina past the bladder as you describe. Any manipulation of the cervix can cause it to bleed especially if the manipulation is vigorous or there is an infection present. Don't worry. The vagina is very good at cleansing itself.
