How many days after the fitting of a copper iud can i use tampons safely? as i am experiencing brown bitty spotting however quite abit of this.

No waiting period : Your strings should be short enough that your IUD should not be bothered by your tampon. But just take the tampon out very slowly the first several times you use them after your IUD has been placed, especially if you are heavily bleeding, to avoid getting them tangled if your strings are a little long.
