Oligomenorrhea: Its not uncommon for young women to either bleed more than expect or less than expected. It may take a few years before your periods regulate. However, since its been six months and you are having cramping you may want a gynecolgist to put you on provera (medroxyprogesterone) to bring your period back on so you don't end up with extremely heavy and/or prolonged period.
