Common: Bleeding after a tooth extraction is entirely normal. A pinkish tinted saliva and subtle oozing is fairly common during the first 36 hours. If it's more than this or you are just that worried contact your dentist.

Depends: It depends. If infected, if surgical extraction, if molar tooth, if taking some medications, if underlying medical conditions ... it will take longer. Normal light to moderate bleeding for 2-6 hours, oozing from extraction site may last a couple of days. If heavy bleeding, then return to dentist.

Up to 24 hours: You should resume dental routine after 24 hours. If you have bleeding continued beyond 24 hours call our surgeon for post-op visit immediately.
