It is okay: You likely received the first dose of hepatitis B vaccine - please get the second dose. It is important to do so, it will protect the baby for some period of time before the baby can be vaccinated for hepatitis B. In Asia, HBV is the major cause of liver disease and liver cancer, so it is important to vaccinate, since it is 99% effective at preventing transmission and acquisition of this disease.
