Ovulation: Light mid cycle bleeding can be normal at the time of ovulation but bleeding after intercourse can be a sign of abnormal cervical cells. This is not likely but you do need to be sure your Pap is current and it is advisable to have the vaccine against HPV, the virus that causes cervical cancer. Hope this helps.
