Tough question: First of all I am sorry for your pregnancy loss circumstances. It is very difficult to determine when the body will "eject" the non growing fetus. If your treating MD is waiting for you to pass the fetus ask him/her how long the wait will be. An evacuation of the pregnancy will be immediately necessary if you develop an infection or an unexplained fever.
