Sciatica: 20's female with twisted sacrum asks about future problems. Osteopaths regard sacroiliac joint (SIJ) nutation (also called "Short Leg Sign") & counternutation to be reflective of abnormal SIJ movements. These movements have been found associated with Hypermobility Syndrome, chronic low back pain, fibromyalgia, sciatica, IBS, & Interstitial Cystitis.
