Middle ear effusion: In general, fluid in the middle ear should not cause dizziness or headache. It definitely causes hearing loss in the affected ear. There are many other causes for dizziness or headache. You need to be evaluated by your primary care doctor, possibly an otolaryngologist, and possibly a neurologist.
