Cough & fever: Please see a local physician for examination and treatment. Some viral URI's cause some bronchospasm for several weeks, especially if asthma is present. Severe prolonged cough may be pertussis. Walking pneumonia from mycoplasma also responds to antibiotic treatment. Sinusitis can cause prolonged symptoms also. Must also be sure tuberculosis isn't a risk. If a smoker, time to stop.
