Hi.im 17 year old girl and i have a mild pain on my left hip bone its not bad but i have a cold and when i cough its a bit more painfull?

U R A Modern Hippy!!: The left hip area is rather complex,like any other area in your body.So when you say 'hip bone' that could mean a lot of things.But..hurting more when you cough means something is being transmitted in that area from maybe a hernia (rare at your age and gender), or a strain of some sort in the muscles.Could even be from the ovary. Anyways, if it hurts more when you cough than move see your doctor

Hip pain and cold: Need a lot more information to comment on hip pain. Did you injure your self perhaps sprained your hip. Vigorous activity even sex can over extend you hip and cause injury. Try gentle stretching and a few days on something like Advil, (ibuprofen) one or two twice per day with food. If clears up then OK. If it persists, then see your doctor.

Hip pain: Hip pain in adolecent age group may vary from tendinitis, arthritis, bursitis, slipping of the proximal part of the femur bone, snapping of the surrounding tendons, stress fracture and many more based on their life style.
