Hormonal changes: It's not completely abnormal for a woman to have an irregular cycle now and then in her adult life. Sometimes our hormones, for many and various benign reasons, go a little out of whack and we end up having either two periods in a cycle or intra-cycle spotting. As long as this doesn't start happening every month, you should be fine. If not, see your doctor for evaluation. Be well!
