Reaction to sutures?: It is possible that you are having a reaction to your underlying sutures which is not entirely uncommon. You may notice them starting to "spit". While this is happening the skin will be getting red, swollen, and hot in those areas. Eventually, the suture knots will come out and things will calm down.
