Red hands: There are a ton of possibilities. The thing that comes to mind is Raynaud's syndrome as well as various connective tissue diseases. If cold brings on these symptoms that is significant. You need a good physical exam, with a complete medical history, done by a competent internal medicine doctor.

Why is there a vein popping out like a chord on the palm of my hand with redness around the surrounding area? I used the sauna for about 5 minutes and a few minutes after coming out I noticed a pinching pain that lasted for about a minute?
Episodes of redness, burning sensation, numbness and vein swelling in my feet, ankles, and sometimes hands at night or when standing. The skin itself is not cracked or dry. Socks, shoes and hot shower makes worse. Elevating feet helps. Any ideas?
