Peroxide humidifier: Get a cool mist humidifier, and fill it with one bottle of hydrogen peroxide and two bottles of water. This will provide a 1% aerosolized solution of hydrogen peroxide. Put the humidifier in the baby's room. Very effective for flu. Good for the rest of the family, too.

Stop meds: The main treatment for flu is proper rest and nutrition while they recover. The meds offer little, especially if they throw it up every time. They give you something to do, but I'd avoid the battle & clean ups.
