Can neurodegenerative diseases be the result of a fat starved body?

Fat and neurodegenea: Not directly. The pritican diet is very fat derived and i never heard of an increase in such diseases in that group. On the other hand essential fats are relevant in CNS development and in effective antioxidation. See http://www.Ncbi.Nlm.Nih.Gov/pubmed/14988463.
