Not STD: This is folliculitis (inflammation of the hair follicle) that you can get from shaving. Sexually transmitted disease comes from sex,not shaving.

Unlikely: It sounds more like irritation from shaving. Avoid excessive moisture and any irritants. Also, Sitz baths (soaking perineum in some warm water with a little Epsom salt in a shallow pan) for about 5 minutes daily as needed can be helpful. Obviously, refrain from shaving for a few days. If symptoms worsen, see your OB/GYN.
