Atenolol: Heart rate should be around 60-100. Answer would be know dont hold off

Atenolol: YOu should ask your doc this question, but in general you should take your medications. Lowering the rate is what the atenolol is expected to do and your Doc probably wants it under 100 at least but likely lower and with a daily dose.
