Dosages : the label has the recommended dosages. If you are taking these meds for extended periods you should contact a physician about your pain.

Too much : NSAIDS + acetaminophen can result in increased kidney problems. You can indeed tolerate your proposed doses probably at 3 times daily, but this should only be for limited time. Better to find the cause & get specific remedy.

Caution: The stated maximal safe dose of tylenol (acetaminophen) is 1000 mg per dose for an adult. However, the risk of side effects increases with the dose. Tylenol (acetaminophen) can cause fatal skin reactions. The maximum dose of Advil is 400 mg OTC and by prescription the maximum dose is 800 mg. Advil can cause fatal gastrointestinal bleeding. Combining these medications should only be done under a physicians supervision.
