RSD (aka CRPS): How long have you suffered? It sounds like Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy (RSD), or Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). It usually results from some kind of trauma or shock. Most patients with this condition are also hypothyroid. Difficult to treat--but I have managed a number of patients with this condition using high-dose gabapentin (600 mg 3 times daily, plus 12-1800 at bedtime).
