Not related: Hi. A progestin secreting IUD is a choice based on desire or lack of desire for having periods. Oxcarbazepine (Trileptal) does not alter progestin metabolism, so you're free to choose "no periods" while taking oxcarbazepine, if so desired. Happy 2015!
