37.4 pregnant & today i haven't felt as much movement by baby,he will move but only slowly & not getting as many sharp movements,had water & chocolate?

Count the kicks: Hi Julia, Usually at 37 4/7 wks the baby seems to "slow" down. They get larger and their movements are larger. The whole body moves as compared to the numerous kicks felt around 30 weeks when he was smaller and had more fluid around him. drinking something cold & sweet was a great idea. If no increase in movement with in the hr. following the chocolate then I suggest evaluation at the hosp.
