Reasons..: There are multiple possibilities for this so there is not just one possible answer in this case. I would like to know, for example, how long you have been in the birth control you are taking right now, this could be causing the heavy bleeding. It is time to discuss with your doctor and get evaluated for a possible alternative hormonal contraceptive method if this is finally the reason.
