Question...: Usually if this is a new birth control pill it can change the way your period presents. In some women there might be variations for different reasons in the way these hormones influence your body and hence your period even when they have been on them for a while. Depending on the circumstance the changes you need to make on your birth control. Follow up with your GYN provider if symptoms continue.

Patience: The periods typically become lighter when taking the pill. If you period is coming at the right time in the cycle of pills, then it is ok even if it is very light.
