Yes: scheuermann's disease in an exagerated kyphosis. this "uneveness" in the spine will contribute to disk herniation. A disk herniation occurs when a disk loses it's water content, believed to be due to ongoing friction/trauma, it appears that some are more genetically prone to disk herniation.
