A member asked:

If someone has a higher than normal wbc count then can the chances of hiv be completely ruled out?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: The chances of HIV will increase depending upon other risk factors like unprotected sex, iv drug use from someone with HiV, etc but higher WBC has many different causes like any infection or medications ( steroids for example), etc.
