Probably not: The progesterone level only rises with ovulation and with pregnancy. So it should be very low, depending on when it is checked. Hormone levels can affect the mood, but that should also be a cyclic effect that varies throughout the cycle. The bio identical formulations may not offer any benefit - one way or the other. See your Ob/Gyn.
