Probably right dose: The standard treatment for chlamydia is a single 1 gram dose of azithromycin. Probably you were given two 500 mg (0.5 gram) tablets. If you read the instructions on the label, it probably says to take both pills at once. If any doubt, contact the pharmacy or the doctor who prescribed it. Good luck.
