Take a test: If you think you might be pregnant check then check a home pregnancy test. They are cheap, reliable and available at any pharmacy. This is the only way to find out. If you are having sex without condoms or birth control then pregnancy is a possibility. At age 17 I encourage you to consider starting birth control and avoid being teen parents.

Painful nipples: two weeks after last menstrual period is not likely to be a symptom of pregnancy. If she misses next period -would take a home pregnancy test.
