Palpitations: It is possible. Also look at your intake of stimulants such as caffeine, diet pills, decongestants, nicotene, and others and discontinue them. Call your doctor and inform about the possibility of side effect and discontinue prozac (fluoxetine) for now until you speak with your physician. An ECG is a good idea as well. Amitriptyline can also cause arrhythmias. If you have hypothyroidism, are you on meds for it?
