Unusual: It is difficult to overdose with iodine from food supplements. You need greater than 1 gram of consumtion. Usually whe taking too much of a synthetic source. Symptoms can include burning sensation in mouth , throat, stomach. Nausea and vomiting with stomach pains. Weak pulse, diarrhea and coma.
