Multiple possible: Does not sound like an STD. Without an exam and more info this is difficult. Most likely answers is folliculitis - irritated hair root - usually self resolves. It can be infected or not and topical antibiotics are a good idea. Other most likely is a furuncul which is an abscess/cyst and may need to be opened or antibiotics. Concerning things MUCH LESS likely, get exam if not gone in a day or 2.

Cyst: Cysts of the skin in that area are not uncommon. If the lesions resolve that is usually a good sign. However , if a lesion continues to be sore then seek medical attention.

Hair follicle: It could be a mild inflammation of a hair follicle or ingrown hair. Have your physician examine you if there is another flare up. Warm applications help sooth the irritation.
