Continue to observe: Irregular periods have many different causes: Young or old age, hormone birth control, change in weight, physical or emotional stress, and many more. Pregnancy, including ectopic pregnancy, can cause irregular bleeding and pain. If you develop new symptoms, consult a Gynecologist. If there is a risk of pregnancy, do a home pregnancy test.
