Pleuritis: If it is mainly painful when you breath, it is likely due to pleuritis--inflammation of the pleura, which is the tissue surrounding the lungs. Pleuritis can be quite painful when breathing, coughing, sneezing, or moving the shoulder. The treatment is aspirin! It should go away in a day or two.
