Not enough info: You do not supply enough info for a useful answer. What is cause of the anemia? Anemia of renal insufficiency usually responds to epoetin. If no response, look for other contributing causes of anemia, such as iron deficiency. Anemia of this degree significantly impairs quality of life, and probably its duration. Transfusion may help temporarily. Patient needs evaluation by hematologist.
