I have hip pain. it came on suddenly and at times is a burning feeling. tylenol (acetaminophen) didn't help. can't walk, get up from a chair, and hurts when inactive.

Hip pain.: Hip pain could be from the joint itself, or from the surrounding tissues bursa, muscles and tendons. If the pain is bad enough see your doctor for physical and may be a xray. In the meantime you try an anti inflammatory medicne like advil or aleve (naproxen).
